At Heirloom Nest, we handpour every single candle that leaves our studio in Fremont, MI. We use 100% American Grown Soy wax, cotton wicks (never zinc), and phthalate free scents. Why soy? Well, soy candles when burned with care will not soot, and also have a longer burn time than paraffin candles often do. (Did you know that the bottom of every candle has a label that lets you know all the safety guidelines for burning a candle? Trim your wick to ¼ inch, do not burn more than 4 hours at a time, ect. Check it out, not only does the things listed on the bottom help you safely burn a candle, they also help you optimize the longevity of your candle.)
